This service will ensure your video displays are performing
at their peak capability. High quality test equipment is
used to achieve the optimal results from your display and
associated video sources. It will also find any defective components that may exist so you
can have them repaired under warranty. Tools of the
same quality used in Hollywood and proprietary methods will
be used to ensure you will get the best possible image.
Please contact us before purchasing your equipment if you want the
best results because all products are not able to benefit
from this service and some will have better results than
others. Experience with service mode access on many displays
including Brillian (factory authorized calibrator), Hitachi, JVC, Mitsubishi, Optoma, Panasonic, Pioneer, Qualia,
RCA, Samsung, Sim2, Sony and Toshiba will be used when necessary
to achieve the desired results.
The process includes detailed setup of
your source devices including helping you with those pesky
cables. Without this your DVD player, Blu-Ray player or HTPC
are more than
likely improperly configured for your system. This will
include proper adjustment of the source or custom
calibration of that input on the display when that is
necessary.
The setup will also include a review of the cabling, room lighting, viewing positions and source material relative to your desires. A proper video setup must also include a review of your viewing habits along with the capabilities of your equipment relative to film and video reproduction standards. |

Below is a brief description of the service. Please note what type of equipment is being used to measure color if you are comparing this service with others. A spectroradiometer is more accurate than the typical color analyzer or optical comparator used by many and nearly a necessity if you are using a
laser, lamp
or LED based display (LCD, DLP, LCoS, SXRD, DILA) and want
an accurate color measurement.
The Photo Research PR-670 used by
AccuCal is a requirement for accurate color management
system (CMS) adjustment found in many high quality displays
including Pioneer Elite plasmas, Sim2 projectors, Sony
projectors, BenQ projectors and Marantz projectors.
Measuring primaries and secondaries with high accuracy is a
very difficult task. Only very high quality
instruments can do this such that your image will look as
lifelike as possible. Understanding how these adjustments effect all colors is
also critical to obtaining the best results possible. |
